Hi all
Would it fall within the new rules to use a series of ram pumps to feed water into a highbanker ? Probably not practical to lug 100's of meters of pipe and a half dozen ram pumps through the bush but could work if you were to setup camp at a spot for a week or two . Considering they have no moving parts and are powered by gravity could be an option .
Thoughts .

if you run your 10metres of rigid hose/pipe you will end up with good water flow anyhow, the ram pumps are not required. Ken.

It's illegal. Tried to get away with this principle many years ago, but nearly had our gear confiscated.

hydraulic rams work on low pressure flow being stopped by the flapper valve not efficient only pumps 1/6 th the flow thru the pipe to the apparatus like the high banker pump the water to a holding tank, then gravity feed to the highbanker , no direct connection between high banker and pump, better still 50 handmaidens with buckets
