Post storm panning :)

Heading out for a pan today.
Target is to see and set a ratio found after 100 pans.
I will lose count after 3 but i average 25 an hour and ill be out all day.
Today though, ill classify into a bin and pan that when full
Ill post a pic of whats in the pan at the end of it
If i had a goal it would be 5 grams so fingers crossed my pic resembles
that of a golden rainbow

Is there a reason ur choosing to ONLY pan?

I normally keep a 20L bucket, pan & foldable shovel in the car because they don't take up much room & I like to stop often to prospect on journies. What I do to process more dirt than the pan could handle is to use the 20L bucket once 3/4 full as my agitation pit

I get plenty of water in it, pivot one part on the ground & give it a good old shake. I trust that my heavies will sink so tip out the top 1/2 of the material, another quick shake, lose 1/2 again & I'm left with an amount I can Pan.

This makes 15L of material processable in the span of 5 or so 5min

I have never timed myself panning, but I can guarantee it wouldn't be anywhere near 25 pans an hour or 100 in a day. :8
Looks like I better get out and practice a lot more. Bloody great effort and look forward to seeing your results.

I only timed it as a test with a standard pan and a turbo pan
Results were identical so 'Turbo' is just a sales name
Im in the process of building another HB so ill be able to move heaps
The pic will be next
Didnt get the 100 but a mate and i used his HB instead.

Hey matt. I have been out with the detector a lot of late,
So to get the pan out and have a dig in the rain is just awesome coz
No one is as crazy or likely to head out and annoy you

Not too far from a camp a visited you at when you were here. The visit i used your infinium
Plenty more there now i know exactly where it is.
Id love a nug or two to cover air fares to the west for a week.
