pole thing?

does anybody know what this might be? it was found at old farmland turned into school that got knocked down. i also found a piece of barbed wire with it. it's about 22cm long.

It's a bit hard to tell from the pics.
If it's lead I'd say it's a piece of an old "S" trap off a sink.
If it's steel I'd say it's a piece of gal pipe.
