need some advice - GP3000 to GPX4000

I am thinking of buying another detector for a up and coming project
what I need is a detector that handles nosiey ground (quiet)
I was thinking of ml gp 3000 to gpx4000 as the 5000 doesn't handle the 40x20 coils to well ( according to the reviews)
can any one recommend detector
