I will blow the trumpet of our frontline health services, ambos, nurses, doctors, specialists, physio, support workers etc, sadly we have needed their services on several occasions this year but it in a year that has tested everyone they have worked tirelessly to ensure community health and safety.
To any on this forum who work in these areas you are in my thoughts. Thank you seems somewhat inadequate.

Ok ok, My local Battery World... Gave my 1.5m of 6 B&S Cable, Good price on 8m of 8B&S Cable (better than ebay) and beat 'Others' price on a new Battery by $35... Wanted to know if I need a hand and to take the car over and he will guide me and help when he can.....

Giving my new mechanic some free publicity here and wishing I'd found him 10 years ago.

Had a quote from my previous auto repair business for almost $1200 worth of (supposedly essential) work needed on Bluebelle (my 20 yr old Pathy). My ex son in law checked it over and said there was nothing wrong with my suspension.. or anything else they'd quoted..

Today took her for a service to Doctor Martin Automotive Repairs in Hoppers Crossing, related the story and asked them to check whether any work needed to be done.

Total cost for service and extras was $228... yes that's correct!
I was gobsmacked as my last service on my Micra was just over $500 ...And I had to take it back twice as the new brake pads hadn't been fitted properly.

Anyway a great lot of blokes there at Doc Martin's ...all keen campers...and funnily enough, they had done the road worthy on Bluebelle just before I bought her 2 years ago, so they showed me (on their computer records) the list of things they had done then.... including some work on the suspension!

So after thanking them profusely I drove to the nearest Bottle Shop and returned with some beers for them....and they will also be servicing my Micra from now on too

You should not need to apologize . I totally agree . Its the people who give fuel to these racist , sexist conspiracies .Who need to Apologize and have a hard look at themselves .
