Well 2015 was a learning curve after first panning for gold in a creek near ballarat last winter on the coldest day of the year i found 3 specks of gold and was hooked. Since then it has been alot of trial and error with homemade equipment. starting off with a little battery operated bilge pump on a cleanup sluice running classified material theough it and my pan. Travelled to oallen from wollongong at least once a month for 6 months and have tried teaching myself how to find the gold. Ive been to warri bridge a couple of times camping overnight as well.. ive travelled out west towards tuena to have a look at the area and a couple of quick pans for not much sucess but this year im going. To try get out where i can find some chunkier gold all up i have managed to find 1.36g of fine flour gold drom oallen and warri bridge. This year i plan to test my homemade highbanker and hopefully will have a little more colour to show next year
