My Coinmaster 6/db

The other day I found a Coinmaster 6/db working for $10 and grabbed it. I am starting to learn about prospecting etc and am wanting the option of having a bigger coil. It's an old VLF and i'm not sure how big I can go as I've read PI are fine with big coils but I'm not sure about mine.

Also I don't know the names of connections etc. What type of connector does my detector have?

Here is the loop cable and the connection on the detector.

any advice on the connector type and what type of coil I can use and how big would be great.
