meteorite ?

this looks like it could be a meteorite . if not then certainly an interesting anomaly

have any of our members been there on their smoko break ? lol

any opinions ? . might be worth a look if we are in the neighbourhood

Yup! sure looks like one - the crater rim averages 50 > 90m higher than the surrounding and interior elevation. didja find her self, cos you might have naming rights

i only " found it " on google earth . didnt actually go there and dig holes in it yet.

its probably been flown over , landed on, poked and probed by 150 geologists in the last 150 years but i didnt take the time to research it further

there was a reference near it to a petroleum company but i would be looking at it more for rare earth minerals potential

not this week though . its too damn far to walk from sydney.

if any of you peepil are near by then feel free to go for a look
