Joined today after reading a good cross section of interesting posts. I am in the copper triangle in s.a. up Kadina way
I have been digging holes for about three years, now. Occasionally I have found an item/coin in said holes. I guess I have done
fairly well in that time, mostly around Adelaide and the burbs, and using lower end detectors. I received a compadre today and gave it a swing for
2 hours.did'nt find much, a few decs and small bits and pieces. more to try it out and get used to it. should be a winner. cheers.

Welcome slipped disc, the Compadre should ge a great little park machine, Tesoro make great, no nonsense detectors. :)

thanx Goldpick yes very basic.and easy to use. I find pin pointing the hardest, even using the X method. more practice needed.
I start on low descrim. and thumb it up to check a target. slowly does it. :|

Hi slipdisc I saw this week there's a new operation that can fix your back. Happy hunting
