hi all!!
im new to detecting and I am currently looking for my first detector. I have been highbanking at a secret spot near braidwood for almost two years now and im gonna spend some of the booty on a new detector. and since theres no water left in the creek I might as well have a look and try to find where its coming from. I live in Canberra so some info on whereabouts to detect would be awesome too.

Welcome to the forum, haha, that sounds funny. Good to see some more fellows from the Capital. Best of luck with the new detector and hope those nuggets aren't too elusive. A good place to start looking would be that secret spot of yours near Braidwood mate.
