Hi, my name is Richard and I'm 26 years old. I just bought the garrett at pro international an I'm very new to this metal detecting stuff. I'm interested in finding stuff on the beaches and in the gold fields, I live on the north side of Brisbane.

Hey Richard. I'm only knew myself mate, signed up today. Live about 1 hour out of bris on the border ranges. I know there's gold been found out at Warwick and down south around Drake, Tabulam, Paddys Flat and a few lesser known spots around these traps. Sing out if you think you might head out to any of these spots and dont mind a tag along. I don't have a detector yet but am keen to get out and see what its all about.

Thanks for the welcome guys. Yeah I'm pretty keen to find some places for gold, I will keep you in mind bandicoot but I still need to do a bit of research on where exactly to go.
