Hi Everyone

My name is Stewart and i am looking a just getting into detecting with a cheap detector to start off with and then maybe in twelve months time when i have save a bit more money will upgrade, i would love to get a AT Gold but will have to wait a while.

Hi Stewart, welcome.

I have an AT-GOLD, it's a fantastic detector and well worth the price IMO. You could look at getting a Garrett Ace, I think they start at about $250 but from what I hear they are a great little unit for the price. There are other detectors at the same price point and I'm sure someone will comment on those soon enough.
