Hello to all the potential teachers and fellow students of the fossicking art. My family and I had our first crack at fossicking yesterday at Black springs. Didn't find any coloured stones but a few clear ones. Have a lot of questions though which I'll post in the appropriate areas.

Thanks for the welcome. Halfway through our bucket of stones(wash?) And have found 2 small dark blue sapphires. Amazing how chuffed you can feel about two tiny rocks.
