So with this addition of Geo-caching it got me wondering is there any Apps you can download to turn your Iphone into a well working gps?

Including adding coordinates and bookmarking coordinates and stuff not just roads and popular building locations.

Maybe you can do this already and I'm just stupid. But any info would be great.

Cheers.

I'm using a Minelab app.
It lets you take a pic of your find and marks it on a map, adds date and time etc.
You can also add notes on your find.

I'd like something that can record your movements a a site, so you can do a virtual grid.
Look at the data on your phone and then you can see exactly where you have missed.

Hi Stony ,
The minelab app you speak of .... is it for iPhone only ... do you know ?
I have an old android phone that I want to set up as a tool for my fossicking .
I have tried both the OSM Maps GPS logger and Pathaway , without any real success . Admittedly , only the free versions .....
I will have a look at Caspers suggestions ....
Steve .

The minelab app is available on Android. "Minelab Treasure Tracking"
I have not had the chance to use it yet.
