Gems in the pan ??

Garnets at what size do garnets ,citrine etc become worth keeping ? There's always the odd one but I never know if they are worth it .

Anything nice and clear and around 5 carat may be worth keeping and having cut. Small ones really would not be worth saving unless for sentimental value. I'd keep them just as mineral specimens anyway.
