Hi all, My name is Michael and I'm a amature fossicker living in the Barraba region on the fossickers way. My partner also loves to get out there and have a scratch in the dirt. Its a bit of a struggle at the moment as I've been struggling with health problems but even worse there is no water.
We normally run a river sluice but not enough flow for some time now, Looking at a trip soon to Mount Kaputar and bring back some opalised wood which will look good in the collection.
I allways appreciate any advice and locations we can use and only too happy to share any spots we find.
Does anyone nearby do their own faceting and cutting as I would love to learn.
