Roscoe, I've used my ATX with both coils, the DD and the 20" mono on it, and in both cases there wasn't a peep out of it. I was blown away with it. And very thankful I chose the ATX over other brands.
And this isn't a rant to say how great the machine is or how great Garrett is.......although I guess I am doing that, what I want to do is let those who are thinking of buying a detector what the ATX will do. I don't much care about what others will do. What prospective purchasers want is actual facts about a machine, not our ragging down other machines or building ours up.
Then its a matter of making a decision based on those facts. If then you make the wrong decision [after thought is a wonderful thing] then that's a mistake made. Fair enough?
