Dry Panning

Has anyone had much success with dry panning? Apparently the Garrett super sluice is great for it.

Nugget 2 get some practice at home throw about 3 or 4 No 7 shotgun lead shot into a pan with dirt ?????

Use the Super Sluice out west all the time mate. Be amazed at how fine the gold can be if the gravel is dry enough. Once you master the technique they are almost as good dry as wet.
