Hi guys,
This post is a bit of a give back.
I have made tons of stuff from tutorials on the net but never posted a tutorial.

This is not a full tutorial but i will upload enough pics to make it pretty simple to copy what i did.
I believe a good DIY project shouldn't be too hard, should not require too many outlandish tools, and all supplies should be available at Bunnings!
This seems to fit the bill, tho I will point out it has not been sand tested yet.
But!! this is the third refined version of the Cap scoop, so I believe in it.
Having said that i am open to ideas and suggestions for improvement. :)

The first scoop was bigger but there was weakness in the handle so I changed it a little to make it more solid.
It is made from a sheet of termite capping $4.70 at bunnings, it feels like the right thickness of material for a scoop. Obviously there are other options
for the design but this way it is very solid.........

Ha Ha....I forgot to mention how messy my tabs were on the bottom....somewhere I got a measurement wrong and had to wing it!

The rivets turned out quite smooth inside, no problem putting my hand (or kids hands ) in there.
