I went for a swing at Redhead beach this afternoon, and all up I ended up with $13.50. There was a few people about and the police had a good presence there as well, there were 5 cops all up and they were in the surf life saving club for the 2 hours that I was detecting for.

Wish I got paid to sit on my butt, and drink soft drink and eat at the beach with a beautiful view. I wonder if they seen me looking at them from time to time? because after a while two police officers on motor bikes left and rode off. Mind you the other three were still sitting there very comfortable when I left.

Oh well at least I felt safe today :)

cheers Rob

Hi redfin I find that highly unlikely!! If I have offended you I am sorry. But like the police I am a public servant. I work in an operating theatre and have to try and put people back together because of other peoples crimes and stupidity. There presence was needed up where people were 4wding and celebrating!! not in the club house where they were out of sight. God I hope that the people responsible for all of these officers deaths are behind bars, except for senior constable William Crews killer who unfortunately was a police officer. Bill crews death was accidental and I understand that accidents do happen.

cheers Rob

No offence taken my man, sometimes all is not what it seems to be, they may be there for a multitude of reasons, we will never know.
Was just trying to point out that they don't sit on their butt, drinking soft drink etc all the time.
Good luck on the beach!
