Cracow / Nathan Gorge (Qld) Queensland

G'day All,
Does any one have any experience in the Cracow / Nathan Gorge area in Qld.
Would it be worth hiking in to where the Cracow Creek meets the Dawson River?

No experience in the area but would strongly suggest you sort out permissions before going in there.

I have passed by . The old timers were there and later on the big miners moved in . I would expect that it is all covered by leases .

I worked on the re-commisioning of the Cracow gold mine way back when (80's) , and land was pretty well sown up then . Though I do remember going fishing not far from the town and we had to sneak in even then ! But that was a long time before I took up prospecting , I was just a labourer / machinery operator back then .
