Today my stock coil, the 8.5x11 coil started chattering, not immediately but after some swings over dewy grass. Currently letting it dry out for a few days before some re-testing. New batteries were no help. Any suggestions?

No chattering on attaching a sniper coil.

The coil cover has worn through. I discovered. I've had muck between the cover and the coil before causing issues and so took it off, that's how I discovered it was worn through.
