Im talking hand of faith and welcome stranger nugget sizes or even just couple KG nuggets.

Do you think they still could be around? Why or why not
300 and 400 0z nuggets are found fairly regularly in the Golden Triangle (ie since the Hand of Faith was found). You can see a number on display in the kgs ranger at the gold museum at Sovereign Hill (they purchase them as part of the Bolte Bequest).

Yep, sure do. If you search Google for "4.1kg gold nugget found in victoria" news from 08/2016, you'll see a 4.1 kg nugget found in recent years (seasoned prospector)

Another one is "Prospector strikes 5.5kg gold nugget in Ballarat, Victoria" 18 Jan 2013. Found with a GPX 5000.

but ..... as can be seen by Roel's posts, and others, these big finds are a couple of years or more apart ..... not regular monthly or weekly occurrences
hold your tongue to the left & keep searching people, they are like Panda's, only coming out to mate every couple of years
:goldnugget: :goldnugget: ;)
