30 hrs

Hi not much to show
I camped at burrendong fri and sat night came home Sunday
We thourghly searched floggers patch
Night and day
I unearthed these they all started as no more than ground noise
As I was turning every ground noise into a target
As that is all left there
But at least got a little
My mate got 3 so did well also considering
We did search a lot of new ground also
For no results but a great time Was had
And the warm fire was welcome into the early hrs of the mornings
After finishing up for the day/nights

Hi Lbg,

Nicely done for a Burrendong find! I figure anyone who finds gold there amongst the usual trash and fishing tackle deserves every single piece they find!

Never had any luck there myself. Spent three weeks straight swinging the Infinium as a newbie there in 09, but I was competing with every man and his 4500 at that time (just after the EB article was published in the AG&T mag). On this last trip with the 5000 most of my days were spent swinging on the ST common. I had an hour or two's wander around Eagle Beagle but never spent any serious time out there. Maybe next time.

And the weather held up
I reckon if I had the infinium
It would be a different story
