Sapphires, Rubies, Zircons - field trip wanted Daylesford area

Hey all, haven't been around in a long while, been tied up with newborns. Got a chance to head in the garage and pan a few cons I've had sitting in a bucket for 6mnths. See below. What do you think they might be. I thought the white one would be Quartz but it has terminations on each end.

Sapphires, Rubies, Zircons - field trip wanted Daylesford area

Here is a photo I managed to take of the cons. Heaps and heaps of little suckers I got the material from in a gravel bar. Is this a good place to sift through?

Thanks GT. Yeah after a little more research I figured they were zircons. I just couldn't edit my post. They are very tiny. My iphone makes them look decent!!

Hey guys been a while since I saw a post in here. I ran a pan through some river rubble and got this. Are the red ones rubies? Would the yellow type one on the right be a sapphire. All found near daylesford area

It's a shame Jethro how ppl feel the need to deface our history. Complete artificers pack so much more punch for visitors and sightseers.

    Gold claims

Do the sums Outlay initially $10,000 (probably wouldn't include other permits or licenses) Tailings 1000T = 36oz Au= $46,800 crushing 550T = 583oz Au = $757,900 ( is that correct...seems a bit high or is that supposed to be 3gpt) Add on running costs etc.

That's one large mountain rock !! Great to imagine that if you started from the surface how you would dig it to follow veins etc. Especially like that one on the left of the picture.
