It's actually 31mm can see a shield and an animal horse/dragon like on the right of the shield it's doing my head in at least my hands are getting a good clean!

Amazing, I picked up about 20 1c & 2c's as well. And also a 1951 florin! Also a couple of half pennies and pennies. The florin was the shallowest pre-decimal I've found so far about an inch under, was expecting a bottle top!

I'd agree with the keyhole theory but it doesn't seem to have anywhere it would have connected. I'm still leaning towards pick I think I can see the nose of Edward vii I'm sure an old timer is sitting back having a good laugh at me!
