    my finds

I usually don't dig that much...although it was a nice signal in the silver range and was very little trash around. Also the fact it indicated it had some depth where quite a few of the others were on the shallow side made me think it may be an old silver. In pinpoint mode it had a nice short...

    Park hunt

I've been to a park maybe 4 times over the last 2 weeks and been able to pull around $50 of moderns out of the ground, which has been great :) Although last night i got onto a patch just as the sun was disappearing. I managed to find a 1947 penny, 1952 penny and a 1963 half penny :) I was so...

    Getting jaded?

Well...been using the detector a bit recently. Bought it last September and found the loot wasn't piling up too much (maybe $90 in 3 months)....then it sat in the corner of the garage all summer. Went to Thailand for a holiday and after getting back decided to give the x-terra another run and...

    Tesoro Vaquero v Minelab x-terra 705

I currently own a Minelab x-terra 705 and have been doing a lot of park hunting. With the 705 the signal for a gold coin comes up as the same or similar as a screw cap, although i've generally been able to tell the difference by the higher pitch with the pinpoint tone. After doing a bit of...
