"In Myanmar ,the traditional arts of gold and silversmithing are known as pan-tien.Since the 13th century,generationa of smiths have fashioned beautiful items entirely by hand.Craftsmen use traditional methods without the use of electricity or modern tools to create items for daily use and to satisfy tourists.To create the wares,craftsmen melt down silver and a small amount of copper to create an alloy,it is then shaped into ingots which are then hammered into the desired shape.The items are made from the highest quality silver."
I found a couple of items of Myanmar silver on the net which are 95%silver Burma stamped,both are from around the 1890s.Fitst one is a similar goblet.
