it is one thing i do and not so much a take with you type thing but i leave a copy of a map with the area i will be in shown, description of what i am doing in the area (hunting, hiking, prospecting etc) emergency contacts list with numbers, car details and when i will approximately be back home. sounds a bit over the top but it is something i had to do with my mother when i was young and going bush and is something i still do with friends or family just in case

yeah just watch those early D575 dozers they spat transmissions like you wouldnt believe . but they got on top of that little problem and they outpush a D11 any day

ps . can i borrow the truck when you finish ? got a specimen i need to bring home and it wont fit in the ute
