G'day all.
New to detecting. Just ordered an X-Terra 705 Dual pack so I can hunt for some coins and relics in my area (Midwest W.A).

A mate with a Sovereign XS2A Pro detector got me interested in metal detecting so decided to get stuck in and see what I can find.
Borrowed his detector for a day and unearthed a few 1c and 2c coins from my backyard and 25 clothes peg springs! (My mower will love me ).
Also some other bits and bobs on the beach.

Can't wait to find my first pre dec coin and hopefully some jewellery too.

Hey Wookie, welcome as well. What part of the midwest roughly? Geraldton or more inland. There is a lot of history out that way.

I am not too far from Geraldton
Mate runs an earthmoving company out near Wiluna/Meekatharra and he has an XS2A Pro so we are planning to go check out some spots out that way soon. I doubt I will be pulling any nuggets out of the ground with the X-Terra 705, but could do well hunting coins and relics at some of the old towns and station homesteads out that way.
