Tongio West

Hi all
Heading up to tongio west for a unwind and relax long weekend.
Will be chasing deer and gold.
I'll be taking the pans and sluice and also the 705.
Have found an area to try that ticks all the boxes on geovic and my deer hunting legal areas. So touch wood it turns out in person and not just paper and computer screens.
Creeks are all good and not exempt

Has any one been up this way and had any success?
Does it get busy over a long weekend like Dargo etc?

Hey Cameron, I don't think it will be too busy. I haven't prospected up that way and would be most interested in knowing how you go!

Will definitely get some pics of any finds and what the terrain is like.
A mate wants some pics of the deer country as well.
Would really love to find a little bit of colour with the detector and pump some material through the sluice.
Can't wait.

So far I have one little issue with this weekend lol
The wife is taking the kids to the inlaws tonight for the week and weekend.
So I'm stuck with the new pet rabbit.
Hhhmmmm looks like Chester is coming camping hahaha
Should be interesting.
I could use him as fox bait

Either way it should be fun
