Back in 1979, I was camping at Coral Bay, the Pub and Caravan Park had just been opened and there wasn't anything else there, I camped at 9 mile reef for a few days and did some diving and fishing, came out of the water one time and my diamond ring with a 1/2 carrat stone was gone, I spent hours trying to find it to no avail. I've always hoped that someone would find it so it wouldn't be wasted.

Should be a good chance it will be found as "Detectorists" are now coming out of the woodwork in the thousands
