Maybe try something manga? Or try drawing something based on a story, those ones are always cool because they are based on how you imagined the story.

The hardest part about art is coming up with ideas of what to sketch. Try drawing from nature (or any immediate real life subjects) TFK and it will give you the basics of hand to eye drawing and perspective. Good luck and keep at it, it's a great hobby or profession.

I used to struggle to think of ideas what to draw, so just like the post sais above I walked around drawing many standard objects. Once I felt I was doing enouhb of a good job with angle, shade and perspective I began to mix them together.

my style is very unique, usually blobby and grotesque dribbling critters

when I was younger ( well I still do it ) I drew many old country farm houses, half fallen over, water tanks etc.
