hey Waynec, are those stainless steel hinges welded on carbon steel?
tricky job to get that right. generally a sign of a VERY experienced welder to do that correctly. erfect:

I was looking at all that welding ,too , Ded Driver. Everything in the pictures is very well made. Accurate cutting and welded absolutely perfectly. Very neat and tidy.

Very impressed with what he has done.

Fairly simple weld to do if using the right consumable . 309l with basic preheat will suffice for that situation. Going the other way round well different story.
