Rock Smashing

Hi Guys,
I'm am looking for ideas - I get more kicks out of smashing the rocks up and looking inside than I do actually walking around detecting, so short of having a dolly pot, how would I successfully contain and crush a small amount of rocks to pan while we are away camping? I have sat there and almost powdered rocks with a hammer but I haven't collected the powder??
