Rock crusher. Legal for amateurs?

Anyone know? Or do they come under the class of 'mechanical assistance'. Talking nsw in particular.

if you dig the rock by hand and crush by hand you should be ok

Yeah, that's the thing... I am happy to dig manually but crushing manually is a drag. Was thinking of taking a small jaw crusher along.

Perfectly legal!
How much rock you remove is where the legalities come into play.
For sampling in the field just a dolly pot will do. The rock crusher generally stays at home in your shed or at camp on your lease.

No probs ben.
Another great year in WA, unfortunately it's starting to heat up very quickly over here now. Looking forward to winter again lol
