Got so bored sitting around home today, I was about to die or boredom lol.
So packed up my 2000 that I just got back from being nodded the other day and hit up Clermont for a little recon trip for an upcoming few weekends planned out there.
Found an old site I had identified previously suitable to use a highbanker on (if ever I get around to building it )
Had a little play with the detector and it was as quiet as a mouce on the hot ground, so quiet it only made any noise once I hit a hot Rock or swinged my pick near it.
Didn't find anything though, as it was only a quick test with the arvo moving on.
I found my planned place and grabbed a bucket of sample dirt from around it, I guess an unofficial loaning trip.I explored around a bit further and found an exposed quartz reef and took some samples.
Going to be a good trip this weekend out there.
