Posted pics of an old dry blower a while ago that was coming up for auction ......

Seems the bloke has a few other odds and sods as well.

Old pans and assorted picks/hammers .....

The original Jackwinder prototype (???) or maybe an early home-made vision of the Creswell classifier?

Looks like a Mighty Miner . I did build one like that .

There is a photo of the one I built in the DIY section Feb . 2020 .

Yep looks like the same thing..... was yours built from that brochure/plans .... can't make out the details down the bottom.
Assume they were also sold as a ready to go unit??? Based on the age of his dry blower, assume around the 1980's ?

Thanks for the info,
Tom

I did go and look at them at Lane Cove , not far from where I was working at the time . Maybe 1987 ? They stopped making them due to lack of sales and too many parts . I also have 2 pages of operating instructions .

The company was later called Consep and they became agents for Knelson and then moved to W.A. They were taken over by F.L. Smidth .

I have up loaded 3 more photos of the machine that I built , in the DIY section . I sold it to a guy that was going to take it to W.A. to use in dry areas .

Awesome stuff Mike thanks for that info, obviously same principle that the Cresswell/Rotapan were based on ....
Checked a bit further Wiley Coyote, Steve Graham Auctioneer (Woodend), the auction is Online, clearing sale Toolern Vale.

Here's the current status, notice they also have a range of different sized smelting pots ......

Be interesting to talk to this guy to see how/when (1980's ?) he was prospecting

Cheers T.

Live bidding starts Oct 10 but everything is showing bids, what am I missing?

Live bidding is when they actually run the auction and take bids either online or by phone, with that 1st item, on the day (10 Oct) bidding will start at $85 unless there are more bids before then.
You can register (as you have to anyway) and place bids now if you want.
Cheers T.
