I just came across a Garrett A D S Deepseeker from the 80s been stored in case under guys bed for decades
Unfortunately he left batteries in which were shot. Cleaned that up and replaced terminals and restored power
but when try adjust settings nothing happens. No obvious signs of trouble but guess time has taken toll
I contacted Garretts who informed me no parts or manuals available
So I wondered should I persevere and find some one to go over or would I be wasting my time

Fortunately it came with owners manual in good condition, but i`ll read thru that site seems to be quite good info there
I was hoping to find schematic diagram or like.I`ll keep looking a bit of fun to keep me busy

I found some good gold with the deep seeker you had to be on the ground balance all the time they were a 5 k detector good on larger gold ,I think with todays rang of VLF detectors and newer technology buy a newer detector regards john

One thing they do very well is finding the mineral runs
in a river or creek bed.

I still use mine at times for this very reason.

Use the mineral setting for that.
