NSW Goldfields accomodation

Hi all planning a trip away for my 30th birthday. Going to take the misses and hopefully the dog. Trying to find accomodation close to a creek somewhere in nsw that has cabin lodge style accomodation. Not a caravan park tho. Can anyone recomend a place thanks

My first trip out we stayed in a B&B in Crookwell. It's in an old Hotel run by an 'interesting' gentleman.
Spud Murphys Inn it's called. By no means is it 5 star, maybe 4, but it is clean and has all you need.
You should be ok with the dog. He has an old dog and a galah that sit on the verander with him. Watch the gala, he will eat ya thongs while you are standing there.
I'm sure there are other options in town as well. I thought it was a great place to start.
Grabben Gullen is half hour away and Tuena about an hour.

Hi Daniel, where in NSW you interested in going??? There is a place down this way that has either a house or timber cottage to stay in. It has views of the mountains and I think it has a creek flowing through it, although it is not hold any gold or gems. You are only about 15 minute drive to Mogo if you want to do a bit of prospecting. Very nice place. See attached.

Haven't stayed at any of them but have heard good things about them. Went down to Turon Gates years ago & remember it as a great spot but wasn't into gold then
Tanwarra Lodge is right on the edge of Sofala & on the Turon River. Looks a great spot.
Looked at Wildwood Cottage myself a while ago but change of plans so didn't end up going. Has it's own diggings on the property running on from the Ophir diggings which sparked interest for me. Pretty much your own diggings whilst your staying there :lol:
