Hi everyone

Thought I would join forum as pre-cursor for getting out'n about fossicking. I'm originally from the bush - Riverina NSW & love nothing more than getting away camping so thought I'd combine that & fossicking - something I've always wanted to do but only just got round to trying it out - I'm hooked but as a newbie, will welcome any information I can get. I've joined the local lapidary club (Canberra).So far I've tried my hand at - sapphires, gold panning & fossicking & Petrified Wood.(which I've already cabochned two necklaces (who'd have thought).
Thanks for the welome Nugget & I'll be sure to scan the posts regularly to pick up hints/tips & any other interesting information.

Thanks, I tried that before posting and found so may different round tuits, but none as simple and chunky as the one that you found.
