Check out post 21 Dave, goldierocks has shared the origins of the Chicko Roll. Definitely not a patch on the Dimmy's, by far the best alternative

Got some of the Aldi ones. There a bit yeah na. Might be ok on the barbie though.

Personally think the Chiko has slipped a bit over the years , has sprung me more to the spring rolls as the outer is more dim simmy like than the chiko
The shortage of Dim Sims has brought on new business opportunities that has allowed increase in production as per the finished product shown below. Worth noting also that apparently the white are the desired type Almost puts a new slant on the saying "Cats got ya tongue"
