Just went connect up the new motor for the slant cabber, but I'm afraid the wiring diagram just makes no sense to me.
There doesn't seem to be any + or - markings so I'm hoping that somebody can advise me where to put what (without being rude)

And what are the 2 small connector strips for ?

I would really like to run it in an anti clockwise direction so nuts don't come undone

If you want anticlockwise Xcvator, change the two brass links as in the drawing. Looks as though the red wire U1 is +ve in and the black wire on the terminal between U2 and Z2 in -ve. What is it a 12v DC motor?

Ok, so 240v. I have to state: You should NOT be doing this, you should get an electrician to do this for you. Low voltage DC is fine, this is 240v AC mains which is a whole different story.

I am unable to give further advice mate, sorry.
