After a couple of requests I will try a post on the trailer that I bought, stripped and rebuilt into a camper. It is about 90% complete now and I think I got it for a bargain.
I wanted a full size Dbl bed, kitchen, water storage, fridge, power, lighting and storage for food and bits and pieces, so this had the basis of what I wanted as I didn't want a canvas one. This, I just open the door and go to bed....
It was made by Pacific aluminium trailers in Brisbane for the original owner for approx. $11500. It was made as a landscaping trailer with full aluminium body on a galvanized chassis. They do make a full on camper similar to this setup for about $26K.
It had 3 near new A/T tyres, all doors open on every side and front and have gas struts to fold them up/open. It has welded alloy roof racks, electric brakes, a good battery and wiring and LED tail lights fitted. It is fully lockable with 1 key and is also well sealed as water and dust doesn't get in at all.
Below are the first lot of pics and are the original pics when I bought it..
After I got it home I stripped the guts (keeping all the metal to reuse) and replaced the springs underneath with better ones.....
