Minelab Vanquish 540 pro

Hi Guys, question, I the Minelab Equinox has 5khz to 40 kHz and can find gold so is said, can the Minelad Vanquish 540 pro with the same 5khz to 40 kHz all so find gold,?

Here is the machine on Minelabs website, this should have the info you need, or you could call Minelabs if you want true confirmation.

Any machine can pick gold, it depends on size and depth, that is why there are specialised detectors for Gold.

Thank you for the information, I have found gold with my sdc about 60 nuggets the biggest a ten gramer, I bought the 540 just to see if the VLF would do the job. I'll check out the YouTube, Thanks Again.

I've never used a Vanquish but believe they only have a fixed ground balance depending on mode used.
That will be it's biggest limiting factor in the goldfields whereas the Equinox has manual ground balance, auto ground grab & tracking.
Best bet would be to take some of your SDC gold out to your area/s & do some testing with the Vanquish in the various modes to see what mode runs best while still picking gold up.
