the guys have been talking about static electric gold retrieval... this uses magnetite on a steel plate... never saw this method before...

that is pretty interesting, there is a beach near me that i detect on, it was sluiced gold for years back in the late 1800s or early 1900s

happened at a lot of places along the east coast mate.. some from oldbar near taree.. they got it in the old days using mercury.....very very fine micro gold me thinks...

yes very fine gold from the beach i mentioned, would be nice to find good nuggets of the beach would save me driving for hours on end to find them lol

the only nuggets on our local beaches are baked white in the sun... :/
