A few clouds hanging around in Sydney but on the radio this morning they said it should last 40 mins or so . Fingers crossed

QLD: Eclipse begins 7.15pm, total eclipse 8.25pm-9.25pm, eclipse ends 10.35pm.
SA: Eclipse starts 7.45pm, total eclipse 8.55pm-9.55pm, eclipse ends 11.05pm.
NT: Eclipse starts 6.45pm, total eclipse 7.55pm-8.55pm, eclipse ends 10.05pm.
WA: Moon rises at 6.19pm, total eclipse 6.25pm-7.25pm, eclipse ends 8.35pm.

I was in karratha for the 1998 meteor shower, was the greatest sky show ive ever seen.Nanjim said:

From memory it was about this time of year that it happened.....
Wes just outside having a look at the Moon the Light is starting to come back...

Thats he one was around this time of year. took the couch out the backyard with a carton, ended up being one of the strongest showers on record.
I went out onto the Spoil Bank with a carton ......
There was about 150/200 vehicles out there all watching the Shower....
No light Polution out there and great fishing as well....
I am about 6hrs drive from there at the moment ....
The colour has gone from the Moon.....
