Limits?

Do other states have limits to how much gold you can take?
Just found out that you can only take 100gms in the NT. (A day?)

Yea victoria has a limit similar to that, it is broken down into different sub sections though, and it does depend on the type of gold (alluvial or nuggets).

It also brings in the amount of peices I believe if nuggets, and says it's ok if it's over the weight limit if it's single peice of course.

Similer in NT, if its over 100 gm, you keep it, but must notify the minister of the location of the finsd within 28 days.
GPS co ordinates might put the find in some funny locations me thinks!

In NSW the limit is 50 grams or 5 nuggets grater than 10 grams per day. Page 3 on the link below
