Hi Guy,
I have been looking for a local metal detecting group
in the Maitland area as I just got myself a new detector,and as soon
as my wife feeling better we will like to join in
some of your trips as we are from Kurri Kurri.

Welcome Scruffy.

As you've probably noticed, we have quite a few guys from around that area (including myself), and some of us often meetup for a bit of detecting. Keep an eye on the forum as we are hoping to organise another local get together soon. I'll post up the details a couple of weeks prior to the meet.

In the meantime there's plenty of great reading around the forum

Welcome To the forum Scruffy, Looks like your in a very popular area there mate. Also got it by good authority that the local council is planning to erect traffic lights on all the local beaches to avoid detector congestion. Best of luck on those beaches and I'm sure they'll be "Pulltab" free in no time.
