The Ounce Club is just a comment made from one prospector to another on finding your first ounce plus bit i.e. welcome to the ounce club. It's not an actual club.

I read the comment on Moneybags ( I think that's him ) today even tho it was written a year ago.

Didn't they send the paperwork out to ya? Those rotten mongrels! No matter just put a Stat Declaration signed off by a JP (or JP will do) on the forum here & the respective presidents of the Ounce Club & the Kilo Club will inaugurate you as a fully fledged member immediately.
Or start your own. You will have to ratify each members authenticity though which could prove a timely exercise.

Hahahahahaha, that's very funny mate. You've obviously got a great sense of humour !
I was trying to be ' low key ' about our find. I didn't want to appear bragging or boastful.
As my avatar shows, my wife is holding the 1.68 kilo nugget in her hand, before we cleaned it up.
We also dug up another 84.5 grams in the same whole.
I honestly thought there may have been a kilo club as we didn't think we were the only lucky bastards out there to find a big one.
The buyer we sold it to showed us pics of much bigger and better nuggets than ours, he'd bought.
We had the story published in the Gold G & T mag October last year.
Anyway, there can't be a ' biggies ' club, I was just wondering.

I liked your find nearly 12 months ago when you first showed it & also seen the GGT article. Terrific find!!
There's probably quite a few on here that have found kilo plus nuggets but many wouldn't show them or even say so. Hats off to you for giving us all a look.
